A Notebook on the upcoming Dometi Pongo to visit to SIUE

On Wednesday, April 12, at 2:00 pm on the first floor of Lovejoy Library, Dometi Pongo, a journalist for MTV, will give a brief presentation and respond to questions from students. 

Dometi graduated from SIUE in 2011. We'll talk to him about how he went from SIUE to MTV, and what skills he needed to hone in order to host television shows like True Life Crime and more recently The Exhibit.

His visit is part of the Arts and Issues series at SIUE with support from the Office of Anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, SOAR, Lovejoy Library, and African American literary studies at SIUE.
