The Black Literature Network

The Black Literature Network includes four interrelated projects -- a podcast series, a book recommendation resource, a data visualization gallery, and a keyword guide -- all designed to illuminate aspects of African American novels. The Network also includes a program for undergraduates and graduate students to learn more about African American literary studies using technology.

The Network is a joint project from African American literary studies at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and the History of Black Writing at the University of Kansas. The project is made possible by the generous support of the Mellon Foundation.
