End-of-the-semester exhibit

On December 5 ad 6, we did a retrospective on our recent Public Thinking Events.

This semester, we produced a series of small exhibits focusing on Black portraiture. We took a look at images by comic book artist Brian Stelfreeze, covers of the comic book Black Panther #1, photographs from the Eugene B. Redmond Collection, and paintings by Kehinde Wiley, Amy Sherald, and Kadir Nelson 

Collectively, these exhibits offered us multiple perspectives on how Black artists render Black subjects with style, reverence, depth, and even humor.
