May 7 - 10, my colleagues Tisha Brooks, Elizabeth Cali, and Tori Walters coordinated a trip to New York City with SIUE students. As we've done in the past, we visited the Museum of New York City, Harlem, the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, the Strand Bookstore, and the African Burial Ground, among other places. We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge. We walked around Greenwich. We walked...and walked.
