A Checklist of Collaborations with DH Scholar, Meg Smith

Over the last few years, I've worked on several collaborative projects with Meg Smith, the research professor for IRIS, the DH Center at SIUE. Meg started at the university in 2021, and I immediately began calling on her for assistance.

Here's a brief checklist of our projects:
The African American Poetry Tracker -- A site that provides information about black poetry publishing histories. For more information, click here.

• Black Literature Network -- A collaborative project with African American literary studies at SIUE and the University of Kansas, this Mellon Foundation-funded includes resources on African American novels. Meg produced the initial design and functionality for the site.

The Novel Generator Machine -- A component of the Black Literature Network, this project allows users to receive suggested novels based on user preferences. I drew blueprints for the project for years, and Meg produced the protype.

Literary Data Gallery -- A component of the Black Literature Network, this collaboration between my brother Kenton Rambsy and me showcases data visualizations about African American literature. Meg designed the site.

Multithreaded Literary Briefs -- A component of the Black Literature Network, this collaboration between Elizabeth Cali and me includes interrelated commentary about African American fiction. Meg designed the site.

Black Panther #1 Variant Cover audio-visual gallery -- This composition showcases views of the 25 variant covers for Black Panther #1 (2016). The site was produced by Meg Smith based on Ben Ostermeier's production of a site we did on Baraka.

• Frederick Douglass site (coming soon) -- Elizabeth Cali and I have been working on a site on Frederick Douglass to provide information for student use. Meg is designing the site.
