In the process researching
the Largest Vocabulary in African American literature, I stumbled onto something that was surprising to me. I did not expect Paul Beatty have the highest number of unique words in his novels among the many novelists I studied.
But yes, Beatty's novels were stand outs in my investigations. I wrote this episode of
Remarkable Receptions based on my findings.
