3 Novels, 3 Years: Pauline Hopkins

 My colleague and co-editor Elizabeth Cali has been crucial to the production of Remarkable Receptions. I can't say enough about her intellect and ideas, her editorial notes and revisions are imprinted on every episode. 

Here, she contributes a short take on Pauline Hopkins. Cali addresses a question about how Hopkins managed to produce three novels in quick successions. A few different facotrs came together, Cali explains, and along with Hopkins's own incredible talents, we got "3 novels in under 3 years. Remarkable."
