Silent March at SIUE

Late last week, we met with a group of young student organizers to talk about making something happen. We worried at times that we wouldn't be able to pull things together, which is why it felt even better when we got to this point.  Images from today's silent march.

Well, Dr. Rambsy, this was poetry in action! I'd imagine Dr. King would say: " Teach not that I died rather teach that I did not die by demonstrating that I live in you."(ACIM) You and the young brave and committed students closed rank with the young people all over this country and the world in saying: our lives and dignity matter, and Dr. King lives in us!
Continue to be brave, bold, and brilliant!
