30 volumes of poetry leading to The Big Smoke

Years ago, before attending a concert featuring Outkast, the Roots, and Lauryn Hill, I spent weeks listening to their work and the expansive web of related music and musicians. In a way, I'm realizing that one reason I'm enjoying Adrian Matejka's The Big Smoke, which will be officially released in May, is because I can run my mind back through several volumes that connect. For now, I provide titles of 30 works I've read over the years that came to mind while reading Adrian's series of poems featuring boxer Jack Johnson.
