Malcolm X, Crime Scene Investigators & the Man with the Shotgun

In the summer of 2024, I completed the draft of a scholarly article on amateur crime scene investigators—some referred to as 'hobbyists'—who spent decades collectively searching for answers about the assassination of Malcolm X. 

Since scholarly articles can take a long time to appear in print, I thought: why not share my research in other ways? This led to the creation of podcast episodes, a series of whiteboard animations, a public exhibit, and this series of blog entries.
