Earlier in the semester, one of the ideas I had concerned merging my interests in dominos and Black books. I asked my graduate student and arts collaborator Nicole Dixon to materialize the vision.
The video is the result. She described the production this way: "The video is structured in two parts. The first is a series of shots showcasing various Black books and the pattern sequence we created. The latter half is the toppling."
