Remarkable Receptions primarily concentrates on the receptions of African American novels and novelists. I decided that I wanted to devote an episode to arguably our most prolific scholarly respondent to black novels: Trudier Harris.
She's produced a large body of scholarship on black novelists, including Alice Walker, Toni Morrison, Richard Wright, William Melvin Kelley, Alice Childress, Gloria Naylor, Randall Kenan, Ann Petry, and many more.
I really enjoyed writing about Harris's work and look forward to producing even more about her outstanding career.
