Congrats to our Body and Soul Winner

Congratulations to our blog reader, Jessi, winner of the first black studies book giveaway--Alondra Nelson's Body And Soul: The Black Panther Party and the Fight Against Medical Discrimination.

Nelson's Body and Soul book is an extension of her many years of researching and dropping knowledge about the histories of African Americans dropping science, utilizing technology, and participating in health activism.
