Mixtape Showcase, Tuesday, 1:30 - 3

Last fall, black studies contributors began discussing the possibility of a project to raise awareness about politics, anti-black racism, education, slavery, and justice. The result was this Malcolm X Mixtape, a collection of rap music and artistic videos by our contributors Dometi Pongo and Al Henderson, respectively.

This Tuesday, April 27th, from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., in the Student Success Center, Room 1203, we’ll have a lil listening and viewing set.

We’ll have listening devices for you to hear the music as well as a screen to view the videos. We’ll also put up excerpts from our main man Malcolm’s speeches.

Come by anytime between 1:30 and 3 to check it out.
