Digital Humanities Club: Week 9

We held our last session of the semester for our DH club on December 10. We spent part of the time documenting some of our reflections on the semester. We also discussed new directions.

I noticed once again that a couple of students expressed the most interest in continuing to do collage, image work. On the other hand, a couple of students mentioned that they were more interested in doing work with audio. One student mentioned wanting to do something with video.

Most importantly, we noted the benefits of doing a large, interrelated project like the contributions members made with the East St. Louis postcard exhibit. That turned out really well, and it was the result of fragments becoming a part of a bigger whole.
