Kendra Martin on the Music

Kendra Martin
When I think of creativity @ SIUE, Kendra Martin's writings also come to mind. She's one of my former students and has been an active writer for the school newspaper, The Alestle.  She's served in the roles of reporter, columnist, and now managing editor. I recently asked Kendra how many articles she's written, and she said, "I lost count."

I've compiled a list of some of her published work with links. I've privileged the music writings, as she and I have had extended discussions on that topic ever since she took one of my rap courses a couple of years ago. Her music writings usually appear under her column entitled "The Headphone Jack."
