Early Black American Poets anthology

Early Black American Poets (1969) edited by William H. Robinson Jr., gave readers during the era a glimpse of works by many historically significant writers, including Jupiter Hammon, Phillis Wheatley, George Moses Horton, Frances E. W. Harper, and Ann Plato. Robinson's anthology assisted in extending views of the histories of African American poetry.
