A Notebook on Body and Soul by Alondra Nelson

I'm slowly developing a small notebook here on Alondra Nelson's book Body and Soul: The Black Panther Party and the Fight Against Medical Discrimination (2011).  The notebook will primarily include brief summaries or identifications of key points in the book as well as a few observations or ideas based on the reading.

The book's focus on "medical discrimination," "health inequality," and African American health activism provides some useful ways of thinking about or rethinking black and American history.
