Blending a common sentence by two different readers



During sessions of our East St. Louis Digital Humanities Club, we've been working on audio mixes for a project.

We recorded this sentence by graduate, creative writing student Christiana McClain.
Only the cool and the calm would sink into the depths of the river, seeing through the waters, not just with their goggles but with their giant pores that turned into gills.

A couple of our students, MaKayla and Jordan, did recordings reading the sentence.









Then, one of my undergraduates, Naseem Dove, produced a mix blending their recordings:
