How long have you been natural?

I have been fully natural for 1.5 years. I big chopped November 2012.

What prompted you to go natural?

I was tired of the damage that I was doing to my hair with the relaxers. After several times of having hair breakage, I decided to try going natural. That was my second time transitioning. The first time I lasted 6 months before getting another relaxer.

In one word, how would you describe your journey?

Eye-opening

If you could talk to our younger sisters who are natural, what would you tell them?

Fully embrace getting to know your hair in it's natural state and don't get caught up in product overload.
