The Cast of Characters referenced in Jason McCall's Dear Hero,

When I read Jason McCall's volume Dear Hero, (2013), I realized that he references several pop culture icons, mythological & biblical figures, superheroes, and villains. I decided to start compiling a list of some of the people who appear in the volume.

I recently mentioned the list to a couple of people, noting that McCall's Dear Hero name checked Cassandra and Bucky Barnes. One of the people I was talking to responded by saying "Everyone knows Cassandra, but who is Bucky Barnes?" And another person said, "No, everybody knows Bucky, but who is Cassandra?"
