My younger brother Kenton and I have been doing a series of data storytelling projects, where we blend literary research, narratives, data, and visualizations. During one of our explorations, we stumbled onto something that raised our curiosity. We were studying data on Wikipedia, and we noticed a spike in pageviews for Octavia Butler in 2018.
